We were arguing a lot and broke up, then literally the day after he went round to his best friends girlfriends house, and she had a friend round too so it was just the 4 of them together having a laugh and stuff. I didn’t know about it at the time, and we got back together a few days later. Next minute, there were photos uploaded on facebook of this joke they had about him blowdrying the girls hair or something :S this girl whos friends with the girlfriend adds him on facebook likes his photos etc. I started getting a bit paranoid and asked him to delete her because I kind of knew she was after him. Things went good for a bit, then they went bad again and about a month ago he said he wanted a break. When we’d have a few days away from eachother I spoke to him again and he said he wanted to end it. Since then he’s gone for a meal with this girl, agreed to go to a wedding reception with her, she’s tweeting her friend about what they’re going to do for their boyfriends on valentines etc. I asked my ex whats going on and he said they’re "just friends", none of the tweets are about him and he isn’t going to the wedding reception – but I’m not stupid! You know when you just know? Bit of a coincidence though that she turned up as things got rocky between us and had just broken up with her ex too! I know you’ll probably think I’m an idiot because he has hurt me so bad, but I still love him so much :( and I miss him so much too, its unbearable! He does the most hurtful things to me though like I tried to meet him the other day to talk about things face to face, and he said he didn’t know if he could because he was going for a meal with family and playing football, he left me waiting round all day and never got back to me. I then found out through twitter that he’d lied to my face because he was actually going for a meal with her! I spoke to him about how I felt last night and he said that he still loves me but he doesn’t want this anymore, he wants to go out, have fun and flirt with other people basically, but he never said this before he’s been messing with my head for so long, hearing that was like a kick in the teeth. When we first got together a year and a half ago he was the loveliest sweetest person ever, he would write me love letters, we’d go out together all the time, I was his priority and he treated me like an absolute princess. Now I feel like I’m nothing to him and it’s so hard. I just don’t know what to do anymore, whether to see eachother as friends or get rid and remove every trace of him, which is far easier said than done because I literally cannot stop thinking about him :( I felt like I was really ready to give things a proper go and make things better for both of us since we’d gone through a rough patch, I never expected all this and now he’s dropped me like I’m nothing :( Now i’m left with all this love to give and no one to give it to. Some advice would be great.

Every relationship is a story. You and your mother, you and your brother, your father, your aunt, your minister, your boyfriend, your best friend…. it’s all story that you made up. That might sound "bad" and "fake" but it’s not really.

We all have a fantasy or story about the best of all possible worlds. And in that world you are the best! And your mother is the most loving! And your Boyfriend is the handsomest! And your minster offers you the answer to all your questions! Of course, with a story like that, we all want to stay right there and hope it comes true.

Unfortunately, all that stuff is in your head. Real people let us down, real people grow and change, real people feel dissatisfied, real people move away, real people lie, and real people die. Even after the relationship is shown to NOT be the story one made up, one still clings to the memory of that wonderful tale. It’s sort of an echo or shadow of what we used to believe.

Over time we get used to the change in the story- maybe for a while your former boyfriend will change to an ogre, or maybe he will ride off into the mists of time. You will find other people on whom to practice your loving skills. Eventually you will find someone with dreams and aspirations closer to yours and you will begin a life together. Until, that is, you grow and move on and he does too.

this is the way we learn about who we are as individuals.

That mark is to show that the account is verified to be the person they claim to be. It would only be used for celebrities and the like since they are the ones most likely to have people making fake account to impersonate them.

With the new version of Twitter, you can go to their Twitter page, there should be a gear on there way to the right of the follow button, when you click on it a drop down list appears and it has the option to block them. The old version of Twitter should have it somewhere on thier Twitter page to.

I have it via an iPod, but layouts are the same on an iPhone.

You can go to "Me", the end tab (get the newest version), and you should find all the information there. Just scroll down, until you see the appropriate title (I would give the link but I don’t have my iPod on me, sorry. :( )

If you mean to POST your twitter updates as text posts on Tumblr, sorry hun can’t do that. Plus that would be a very bad idea considering the significant difference in uses of tumblr and twitter. you CAN however post your TUMBLR posts on twitter, just go into settings and set it up then check the box when you want something you’re posting to go on twitter.

I text her and told her what it was about and we texted a little and i said "what you told me last night, i want to prove you wrong. it’s ok to let your guard down. not everyone is going to hurt you" aaaaannnddd she didn’t text back. also i just realized when i didn’t like her. we always talked about how we should hang out and make out but as soon as i tell her i like her that **** goes out the window. Also, when should i text her. i was thinking wait a few days and text her but what should i say when i do?

i think shes a bit confused because of the past if u text her everyday she would get the idea that u really do like her and when u do txt her jus ask her how shes doing and stuff like that and jus be chill with her but if u really wanna be with her give her time and ask her to think about the good things that could come after the kiss and tell her that ur gunna stick around and not hurt her no matter what…

Now, it appears to be completely one-sided. He rarely responds to her or seems to address her directly, so perhaps he’s oblivious (or just ignoring her advances)? Either way to me it is blindingly obvious she is attracted to him. Many posts on her own wall refer to the recent meeting of “someone special” who she hopes to get to know better. They recently did meet at a church gathering (I do not attend due to my own obligations on those nights) and his Facebook page does not list his relationship status, so I guess she might think he’s single. The whole thing just bothers me and I guess I feel a little insecure about our relationship and this is certainly playing into that…I’d like to bring it up to my boyfriend and maybe see if he would at least change his status to show “in a relationship” so that she knows he’s not available, but I’m not sure if I should or how to do so if I do? Any thoughts… I almost feel like maybe we just need to have “the talk”, something I’ve never actually had to do before. Frankly when it comes to expressing my emotions or having “the talk” it usually makes me so nervous or feel too vulnerable that I can’t do it. What’s a girl to do?

i believe you have answered your own question. you need to muster up the courage and talk to your bf and set boundaries if you are going to be in a serious relationship. and if not, then you need to know that. either way, you need to know so you know what to expect from the relationship. that way, you can also decide what emotions you are going to emit into the relationship and how strong they will be. IMO, about the girls on FB thing, it is a bad omen. it absolutely can lead to physical encounters and eventually, infidelity…though you should remember at this point, that you are not married…and need to set boundaries. i think one of the worst things in a relationship that one person can do is shut down emotionally. your partner needs to know who you are, so they can trust you. and trust is essential in every functional relationship. if you are having trouble expressing yourself, find oout why, and work on it, and your partner should do the same. it would an awful shame if you two made it serious, or even married, and only knew very little about each other. good luck!

So sorry for your hurt. I’ve been cheated on in the past and know how it feels. I ended our relationship when I found out. He came crying to me and begging me for a month to take him back. I believed that he was being sincere and was really sorry so I got back together with him. He ended up cheating on me again. The saying "Once a cheater, always a cheater" has something to it. I’m not saying that there isn’t people that can’t change, but that doesn’t happen very often, unfortunately. You are young, and you have your whole life ahead of you. It sounds to me like you deserve better. If you feel that you do too. Take time to heal completely before you have another relationship. Put yourself first, and when you are healthy you will attract a strong and healthy guy. God bless.
