So I was just wondering if anyone knew of some famous people or accounts like tv shows (doesn’t matter how famous) that reply/retweet often, or that there is a strong chance of them replying/retweeting?

Probably most of them are unloyal "fans," but it’s pretty messed up that they’re trying to trend "Trade Bynum," and "We Want Dwight."

He’s immature, but a week ago he was about to set a record in blocks. I don’t ever say this, but smh.

Side note- go Nuggets. I told everyone this would be a good series, but ignorant fans were saying that the Lakers were going to sweep the Nuggets.

You can do this but you must able with Twitter API and blogger API. But If you don’t understand that then you can join to mixx.com. On there you can join your twitter account with mixx.com. Every time you post on there, then twitter will update too.

Simple! Find a big group that has the same interest as you (Lady Gaga’s fans are little monsters, Katy Perry’s fans are katycats, etc) and follow a bunch of em. Hit follow limit, and wait for a day or two. Then use ManageFlitter, a Twitter app, to unfollow everyone who didnt follow you back. Repeat. That’s a normal tweet. If you want the message to go directly to your friend, you can use a DM (direct message). It will go to your friend’s message inbox. A normal tweet will reach and be seen by all your followers + the public.

I have a non-smart phone and want to be able to udate my twitter status from it. Someone told me the is a number you can text and it puts your text message as your staus update. So via text is fine, but it cant use any data. Anyone know?

If you go to ’settings’ and then along the left hand side click on the link that says ‘mobile’ and then type in your mobile number and it will give you the number you can use to text twitter.

you cant. the only possible way would be make your own profiles and add yourself, OR make a program to do it for you BUT that is allot of effort and your followers will be non existent so I wouldn’t bother…

I’ve been noticing that many people on Twitter are getting replied by their favorite celebrities. And there’s this girl who tweets Ashley Benson, and Ashley always tweets back to her.

So, how can you get a celebrity to tweet/reply/RT to you on Twitter?

Honestly it depends on who you tweet to. I’ve gotten retweeted by Skyler Samuels, I remember that I realized she was online at the exact same time as I was, so I quickly sent her a tweet and she retweeted it within the next hour. But if you tweet someone like Selena Gomez who has millions of followers, there is always a chance your tweet might not get answered because she has so many. I’ve gotten messages back from people like Brad Kavanagh, Burkely Duffield (On facebook actually), and some other people, but they don’t have as many followers as some people. Basically what I am trying to say is that it is based on timing, chance, and how many followers they have. Good Luck!

I have a twitter but I’ve never actually tweeted anything because every bloody time I try to go on, my macbook freezes for a few seconds then shuts down safari. Any way of getting round this problem would be highly appreciated.
And I know you can do twitter from your phone as well but that thing’s about as useful to me as a brick window, so I’d rather just be able to fix whatever problem my laptop has then just use twitter on my phone.

I recently set up a tumblr account, and chose for it to update my twitter feed when I have activity on my tumblr account such as a new post or reblogging something. Now I want out; it’s spamming up my twitter feed. I would like to disassociate the two accounts for good, how can I do this please? I know when you create a new blog post you can deselect "update twitter," but when you reblog the option isn’t there, so I would like the two accounts to forget they ever knew about each other.

i get really annoyed by some people i follow retweeting others. if i wanted to see those peoples tweets i would follow them myself. i hate how my timeline gets clogged up by the tweets of people i dont follow just because someone i do follow decides to retweet them. is there any way i can make it so re tweets of people i do not follow do not show up on my timeline ?

Yes, click on their profile and next to "Following" click the drop down menu and 2 to bottom should say "Turn off Retweets". Click that and you will never see any retweets from them ever again!

I have tweeted to some of my favorite celebrities, hoping that I tweeted to their actual account and not some imposter, and they won’t tweet me back. I have seen that they have tweeted back to many other followers, but none of them will tweet me back. What do I do?

I have the same problem. Sometimes, I find that people just get lucky, and ALWAYS get tweeted by their idols. :\ Which, kills me. Depending on who the person is, it can be harder to get tweeted/DM’ed/Followed/RT’ed. Like, the one and only, Justin Bieber. I’ve tried to hard for him to at least notice me on there, but it never really seems to work.

Besides that, some people just copy and paste what they wanna say to a celeb, and just keep sending it, and sending it. You can have someone help you, and have them help you. Cause honestly, celebs catch you really off guard when they tweet you. Or they catch me off guard anyway.

I’ve only been tweeted by a few people, [@DramaBeats from Fantasy Factory, @Burnham from the band, and a few other people.]

ANYWAY, if you just wanna be noticed by someone, then you can join projects and things like that. I’m a Belieber, and I joined a project by @JustinCrew, and they literally, changed my life. "@" is someone’s nickname. When you wrote a post you can say "had a great time with @amazingdudesname"

"#" is sort of a feeling Or statement or a
Group eg

You can message people by pressing the pen and paper down the bottom on that black bar and typing in there nickname then type the message

A few days ago "web" Twitter changed its design and now tweets are on the right side of the page, and trending topics, who to follow, etc. are now on the left. Is there a way to change it back to tweets on the left, topics/info/etc on the right, ability to have a background color under trends, etc? I like that version way better. This isn’t the "Old Twitter to New Twitter" change that took place last year, but a rearrangement that was put in action a few days ago. Thank you!

I had my tweets private, but this morning I made them public so people could re-tweet them… but now I have these follows that are spammers of porn and that sort of crap. How do I delete them from my followers list? I can block them, but there is no option to delete or remove them.

When you block someone on Twitter, their account automatically unfollows you. However, they can still go to your profile to see your tweets, they can still mention you in tweets, and they can still retweet you.

If they are spammers, you should choose "Report Spam" instead of "Block". Reporting spam will accomplish both tasks: reporting and blocking them.

I want to tweet a celebrity numerous times to see if they tweet back but i don’t want them to think i’m being stalkerish or creepy?

dumb question i know but whateverrrr

Theres no way of winning, you either send one and its lost in the crowd.
Send millions and get notice & annoy them.
every now and then they pick out someone special they notice, send a decent tweet thats meaningul instead of somthing like "omg i love you" what they get x10000 a day.
think of somthing really nice that they will appreciate, and send it a few times, no response, try again in a few hours.

Okay, so i have been talking to the same girl for about a month now, and we both like each other but it seems like she’s beginning to maybe fade away a little. i know its early and if she doesnt want this to go anywhere, i understand and thats fine but how can i find out? like i posted a twitter update about her and she had to have known it was about her and like 15 minutes after i did that, she tweeted something random. so how do i know if she really wants to be with me or not?

About 2 months ago things went bad between me and my boyfriend. We were arguing a lot and broke up, then literally the day after he went round to his best friends girlfriends house, and she had a friend round too so it was just the 4 of them together having a laugh and stuff. I didn’t know about it at the time, and we got back together a few days later. Next minute, there were photos uploaded on facebook of this joke they had about him blowdrying the girls hair or something :S this girl whos friends with the girlfriend adds him on facebook likes his photos etc. I started getting a bit paranoid and asked him to delete her because I kind of knew she was after him. Things went good for a bit, then they went bad again and about a month ago he said he wanted a break. When we’d have a few days away from eachother I spoke to him again and he said he wanted to end it. Since then he’s gone for a meal with this girl, agreed to go to a wedding reception with her, she’s tweeting her friend about what they’re going to do for their boyfriends on valentines etc. I asked my ex whats going on and he said they’re "just friends", none of the tweets are about him and he isn’t going to the wedding reception – but I’m not stupid! You know when you just know? Bit of a coincidence though that she turned up as things got rocky between us and had just broken up with her ex too! I know you’ll probably think I’m an idiot because he has hurt me so bad, but I still love him so much and I miss him so much too, its unbearable! He does the most hurtful things to me though like I tried to meet him the other day to talk about things face to face, and he said he didn’t know if he could because he was going for a meal with family and playing football, he left me waiting round all day and never got back to me. I then found out through twitter that he’d lied to my face because he was actually going for a meal with her! I spoke to him about how I felt last night and he said that he still loves me but he doesn’t want this anymore, he wants to go out, have fun and flirt with other people basically, but he never said this before he’s been messing with my head for so long, hearing that was like a kick in the teeth. When we first got together a year and a half ago he was the loveliest sweetest person ever, he would write me love letters, we’d go out together all the time, I was his priority and he treated me like an absolute princess. Now I feel like I’m nothing to him and it’s so hard. I just don’t know what to do anymore, whether to see eachother as friends or get rid and remove every trace of him, which is far easier said than done because I literally cannot stop thinking about him I felt like I was really ready to give things a proper go and make things better for both of us since we’d gone through a rough patch, I never expected all this and now he’s dropped me like I’m nothing Now i’m left with all this love to give and no one to give it to. Some advice would be great.

Wow. That’s a lot of story. Here is the Jungian POV.

Every relationship is a story. You and your mother, you and your brother, your father, your aunt, your minister, your boyfriend, your best friend…. it’s all story that you made up. That might sound "bad" and "fake" but it’s not really.

We all have a fantasy or story about the best of all possible worlds. And in that world you are the best! And your mother is the most loving! And your Boyfriend is the handsomest! And your minster offers you the answer to all your questions! Of course, with a story like that, we all want to stay right there and hope it comes true.

Unfortunately, all that stuff is in your head. Real people let us down, real people grow and change, real people feel dissatisfied, real people move away, real people lie, and real people die. Even after the relationship is shown to NOT be the story one made up, one still clings to the memory of that wonderful tale. It’s sort of an echo or shadow of what we used to believe.

Over time we get used to the change in the story- maybe for a while your former boyfriend will change to an ogre, or maybe he will ride off into the mists of time. You will find other people on whom to practice your loving skills. Eventually you will find someone with dreams and aspirations closer to yours and you will begin a life together. Until, that is, you grow and move on and he does too.

this is the way we learn about who we are as individuals.
