What is a professional way to tweet an author/writer/motivitional speaker and thank her ?

There’s a pretty famous author/writer/motivational speaker that visited our school today. I run my school’s twitter page. How can I possibly thank her and tell her that The Poetry class and Social Media team really learned alot from her or enjoyed her presence?

Poetry class? Social Media team? Aren’t you the ones who should know how to express themselves? Just write from the heart and say what it meant to everyone.
